Spiritwish

Spiritwish is a Korean MMORPG developed at NEXON studio (a specialized MMORPG studio). This time around, we're looking at an action game set in isometric perspective with charming 2D graphics for each character that'll instantly ring a bell for any Ragnarok Online fan.

Action takes place in real-time, and you're the one to control a team of three heroes on the battlefield. Along with their strategic positioning (a life-or-death factor when it comes to withstanding special enemy attacks), you'll also need to keep tabs on their special techniques in order to manage each move's cooldown time in order to inflict maximum damage. Even though combat takes place in an enclosed setting, it's part of a larger interconnected scenario that you can roam around freely at whim.

Spiritwish follows a linear narrative within its single player story mode, but there are tons of extra tasks that require additional help. In fact, you can form alliances of up to 9 different players to team up with other online teams and beat the toughest dungeons. There are a ton of opportunities to socialize with other players either via the in-game chat or by exchanging collectible items.

When it comes to monetization, we're looking at a Freemium title with a gacha system for character acquisition. Plus, you can purchase certain improvements through in-app purchases. That said, those are purely optional add-ons that don't make or break your game.

Spiritwish stands out thanks to its charming graphics and 3D levels inhabited by 2D sprites. Sit back and relax thanks to its automatic combat system that you can play either in horizontal or vertical mode.
